Over 100 athletes, coaches, and parent volunteers collaborate each year to put on the Walnut Creek Aquanut Fall Artistic Swimming Show, which takes place over Labor Day weekend. This year will mark the 56th anniversary of the Walnut Creek Aquanuts! This iconic production showcases artistic (synchronized) swimming in a theatrical format complete with lights, props, a monumental 3-D stage, and glittering costumes. The show features a Jumbo screen as a backdrop to enhance the special effects as well as provide opportunities to feature sponsorship and advertising messages. The show is created over a two month period leading up to Labor Day. Head Coach Kim Probst and Olga Kouznetsova choreograph and customize routines based on highlights from the competitive season. The athletes train four hours a day and more to perfect their routines. In addition, hundreds of parent volunteer hours are spent building sets and working on intricate costumes to fit "The Olympic Dream" theme!
